Dentures and Partials

Full, partial, and implant-supported dentures, made to fit and made to look real.

Modern dentures do not have to look like dentures or move when you eat. Soothing Dental makes full and partial dentures, removable designs with and without metal, and implant-supported dentures that clip firmly into place. Which one is right depends on your mouth, your expectations, and your budget, and that is a conversation rather than a catalogue.

Implant-supported dentures

This is the option that changes people's lives, and most patients do not know it exists. A small number of implants are placed in the jaw, and the denture clips securely onto them. Nothing slides while you are eating, no adhesive is needed, and you can bite into food again with confidence. It still comes out for cleaning, so it keeps the simplicity of a denture while removing the part everybody hates.

Traditional full dentures

A well-made conventional denture is still a good answer for a lot of people, and it remains the most affordable route to a complete smile. The difference between a denture you tolerate and one you forget about is in the fit and the tooth selection, which is a matter of time and care taken rather than materials.

Partial dentures, with or without metal

Where you still have healthy teeth, a partial fills the gaps and clasps onto what is there. Traditional partials use a metal framework, which is strong and thin. Metal-free flexible partials avoid visible clasps entirely, which matters when the gap is somewhere that shows. Both are made here and we will show you the trade-offs honestly.

Made to look like your teeth

The giveaway with dentures is teeth that are too white, too even, and too uniform to be real. Dr. Alejandra deFuentes Cutter, D.D.S. designs them the way she approaches smile design generally, with her postdoctoral aesthetic training from the University of Michigan behind it. Shape, shade, and a little natural irregularity are what make a denture read as a smile rather than a set.

Choosing between them

Every plan here is built around three things: your goals, your dental health, and your budget. There is no single best denture, there is the one that suits your case and what you want from it. We will walk you through the options and help you decide what makes sense to do now and what can wait.

Good questions

Questions patients often ask.

What are implant-supported dentures?

A small number of implants are placed in the jaw and the denture clips securely onto them. Nothing slides while you eat, no adhesive is needed, and you can bite into food with confidence. It still comes out for cleaning, so you keep the convenience of a denture without the part everyone dislikes.

Will people be able to tell?

Not if they are made well. The usual giveaway is teeth that are too white, too even and too uniform to be real. Dr. deFuentes Cutter designs dentures the way she approaches smile design generally, with postdoctoral aesthetic training from the University of Michigan behind it, so shape and shade read as natural.

Can I have a partial denture without metal clasps?

Yes. Flexible metal-free partials avoid visible clasps entirely, which matters when the gap is somewhere that shows. Traditional metal-framework partials are stronger and thinner. Both are made here and we will show you the honest trade-offs between them.

My current denture moves when I eat. Can that be fixed?

Usually, yes, and it is worth addressing rather than living with. Jaws change shape over the years, so a denture that fitted well when it was made can loosen over time. Depending on what we find, the answer may be a reline, a remake, or moving to an implant-supported design.

How do I decide which option is right?

Every treatment plan here is built around three things: your goals, your dental health, and your budget. There is no single best denture, only the one that suits your case and what you want from it. We will walk you through the options and help you decide what to do now and what can wait.
